My family, my community

Our theme for this month is My Family, My Community. During this theme the children will talk about their families, learn about neighbors and neighborhoods, and find out who works in their community! 
We will be practicing the letters in our names, counting and making sets of objects, sharing books about families and community helpers, and matching adult animals to their babies.
Our dramatic play center will be house, with a twist of fire safety! The child will get to "put out" fake flames and pretend to be fire fighters!

They will also have a community helper project that will go home next week!
